We call you a very warm welcome to the first International Songwriters Night of our international GigSwap collective, at friday february 13, in the Kargadoor, Oudegracht 36, in Utrecht. 

The Kargadoor is located in the heart city of Utrecht, about 5 minutes from the central train station.

This is the first of a series of ten nights to be programmed at the Kargadoor, so stay in tune!

These singers toured together through Europe with the CouchSurfing GigSwapping program, in 2007 and 2008. This 1st edition of 2009 promisses to become a special occasion...
To add some spice to the event, we came up with the  concept for this night as a 'SongSwap Session'. This means the artists will perform their own work but also play one of eachothers songs. This turns the night into mutualy inspiring evening, from artists to artists, and to you, the audience....

Expect a friendly atmosphere, an intimate crowd and an attentive audience... 
The pure creative energy this concept will charge you with will make it a truely unique experience! 
The location will surely help, the Kargadoor's historic music cellar along the canal of our beautifull Utrecht city centre!
